Mysterious places in India

There are many places in the world, which are beyond the understanding of science. There are many stories associated with these places. A lot of these places are religious places.

While some people call the mystery of these places as myth, while other simply believe them as stories. The scientists too don’t believe in them.


However, still there are many people who are curious to know the secret of their mysteries and therefore visit these places.

Yoganti Temple, Andhra Pradesh



From 15th century the idol of Nandi (buffalo) has been increasing in size inch by inch. The scientists too have not been able to give an answer to this increase in size.


And that is not all. People believe that by the end of this century the Nandi will stand and shout.

Hazrat Srfuddin Shahvilayt, Amroha



This area has many poisonous Scorpios, but the fascinating thing is that none of bite inside the mosque.


Another fascinating thing about these Scorpios is that you can easily pick them us while inside the mosque and even carry them home with you and they won’t bite. But as soon as you reach home, they turn back to normal and start biting again. 

Flying stone in Kamar Ali Darvesh Dargah, Pune


There is a stone in Kamar Ali Darvesh Dargah, Pune, which weighs 70 kgs. Shockingly this stone can easily be lifted and when people throw it upwards, it flies for a few seconds, before falling down.

Veerabhadra Temple, Lepakshi, Andhra Pradesh


There is a pole in this temple, which is hanging in the air instead of being attached to the ground. People call it as ‘Fansi Stambh’. People believe that this is the result of Lord Shiva’s anger. Those people who move a cloth from below this pole, get rid of all their troubles.

Amb Sahib Gurdwara, Mohali


There is a mango tree here in Amb Sahib Gurdwara. The mystery behind this tree is that it grows mangoes throughout the year.

Somnath Temple, Gujarat


This temple has been destroyed 17 times and every time it is build again and it look like the same old one always.

Thepperumnllur Shiva Temple, Tamil Nadu




On 15 January 2010, a strange incident took place in this temple. That day was the day of Surya Grihan. When the priest of the temple opened the main door of the temple to drink water….

He saw a cobra coming down from a tree with a leaf in his mouth. After reaching down, the snake kept the leaf from his mouth on the Shivling. The snake repeated the process for some time.

Vitala Temple, Hampi, Karnataka


People are able to hear a sound of songs from the poles of this temple.
