Comparison: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Vs Micromax Canvas Doodle 2

Samsung launched its 5.7 inch Galaxy Note 3 device at the Samsung unpacked event yesterday. Ahead of the Samsung launch in the last week of August Micromax launched its Canvas Doodle 2 big screen phone with 5.7 inch display screen.


Without a second thought, Micromax was launched as a competitor to the upcoming Note 3 from Samsung.

Both are have a 5.7 inch display screen and both support a pen-like stylus that brings them into the competition. The Galaxy Note 3 sports a 13 megapixel primary and 2 megapixel secondary shooter, while the Canvas Doodle 2has got 12 megapixel and 5 megapixel camera.

The Canvas Doodle 2 in the initial spec review appears slightly heavier with and ticker than the Note 3 fromSamsung. The Internal memory of the Canvas Doodle 2 cannot be expanded while that of Galaxy Note 3 is expandable up to 64 GB. The Canvas Doodle 2 has a smaller battery, but also have a lesser pixel density to cater to.

We will have to wait till Samsung releases the price of the handset, and see if the difference in amount is enough to dissuade you from buying Sammy’s latest.
